Biobased construction is special and simple with the HSB elements from our partner Prefab Strobouw for facade, roof and floor. The elements have a wooden frame and are therefore easy to screw together. Any contractor can place them. All standard finishes are possible, such as stucco, wooden wall cladding or a masonry outer cavity leaf.

The HSB element of Prefab Strobouw is made up of natural materials. Straw, wood and fiberboard and a few nails. With this we offer an alternative to sustainable alternative to regular facades, roofs and floors.

The materials we use are environmentally friendly and free of toxic substances. This ensures a healthy interior space.

The Prefab Strobouw HSB element combines a number of unique properties. The high insulation value (Rd = 7.4) and airtight properties make it possible to build a very energy-efficient and sustainable house.

The thermal mass and the vapor openness ensure an even indoor temperature and humidity. Moreover, the building remains nice and cool in the summer.

All this combined means that the price can remain extremely low for the most important part of the house, the hull and insulation. You can already have a hull HBS facade for less than 20,000 euros. That is of course only part of the total price. Yet…
